RESPECT Project (LGBTQ+ Project for young people) featured image

The RESPECT Project was a series of LGBTQ+ focused activities run by Hampshire CAMHS in December 2019 celebrating and respecting one another whatever our preferences. This particularly emphasised the need for respect for our youth LGBTQ+ community.

This was a project for EVERYONE to get involved with!




This included;

Professional Training- LGBTQ+ awareness and mental health suicide and self-harm for education, social care, health and voluntary sector processionals supporting young people, facilitated by Hampshire CAMHS clinicians (x 3 events)

In House LGBTQ+ Training for Hampshire CAMHS Colleagues and sign up to The National NHS Rainbow Badge Scheme

Hampshire CAMHS Staff Rainbow Mufty Day to raise money for our local Youth LGBTQ+ charity

Parent and Carer LGBTQ+ Support Evening

Digital Download (information for our website www.hampshirecamhs.nhs.uk) and School Resource/ Information Packs

A free Performance by Grace Petrie (LGBTQ+ activist) for young people
