Equality in the Workplace for Disabled Staff in the NHS

The aims of my project are simply to give you tools to help you reduce disability health inequalities within the workplace.

The current problem for disabled staff is they face challenges in accessing and retaining employment, not just within the NHS in all organisations across the UK.

I have identified three areas where disabled people face challenges > Job Opportunities, Shortlisting and Training.

There are a few ways to reduce discrimination by providing reasonable adjustments for disabled staff, which will increase equality in the workplace.

Always ENGAGE, ENCOURAGE AND ENABLE your disabled employees and colleagues to be themselves and not what you expect them to be.
