My pledge was to increase awareness of Fab Academy.As Fab Academy is such a fabulous platform for reading about project improvement ideas which have already been tried and tested it seems barbaric that staff do not utilise this resource.
Admittedly it was only a year ago I discovered it and could not believe I was not aware of it before.
I decided to do a quick poll in our Trust Facebook group and found only 6% of staff knew about Fab Academy.
Since then myself and our Fab Ambassadors have been posting about Fab Academy, we have had Fab academy founders come and visit our hospital and had Fab Ambassadors talk at a recent conference.
I have also been talking about it whenever I deliver any teaching. I have worn my Fab hero badge which has started conversations about it too.
I repeated the poll and we have increased the awareness from 6% to 60% of staff knowing about Fab Academy.
This is just the beginning we will continue to raise awareness throughout the year.
