In 2019 we launched Self-Administration of Medicines for our post-natal women in he Rosie Hospital, Cambridge.
Women are now able to be in control of their own pain relief following the birth of their baby and are no longer waiting in pain for the drug round or missing simple pain relief because they are asleep or not on the ward at the time drugs are dispensed.
