Royal Bournemouth & Christchurch Hospital

My pledge was to use some of my time to support patients getting up, getting dressed and getting moving. I started by contacting the Old Person’s Medicine Matron Trudi, and explained how I wanted to help. Trudi put me in touch with Claire, one of our Ward Sisters who welcomed me to the ward and introduced me to a patient. Once introductions were out the way, we walked around the lake, looked at the ducks and the fish before getting back to the ward in time for lunch and a warm cup of tea!
