It’s just one week until we host our fourth Quality Improvement Conference, Compassion and QI – and this time it’s virtual, hosted on Zoom on Tuesday 20 October.
We have an inspiring “compassion focussed” agenda, including keynote speakers Bev Matthews and Goran Hendriks. Bev Matthews, NHS Horizons Clinical Transformation Lead, will be presenting on the importance of social connections in improvement. Goran Hendriks, CEO of Qulturum, Sweden, will be discussing the importance of staff wellbeing and how teams can support each other to develop a confidence in their daily work enabling them to make changes to the way they work.
We are hosting the first ever virtual Esther café in partnership with Qulturum – an innovative way of embracing the power of storytelling as a starting point to creating improvements. Hear what one of our patients has to say about their experience, then, working in breakout rooms, help identify what improvements could be made.
We also have four 30 minute interactive workshops you can choose to join throughout the day
• Ikigai
• Compassionate Leadership for Service Improvement
• How can QI help deliver compassionate care?
• QI Toolkit - PDSA – understanding how and why you can make changes
All are welcome so please share this with your patients, their families and carers.
More information is available on our website www.southernhealth.nhs.uk/qico... where you can find out how to get access to the conference.
We will be tweeting from the conference @shft_transforms and using the #compassioncompass
