New TV for Spinal Outpatients

New TV for Spinal Outpatients featured image
Problem A hospital waiting room can be a boring place for a child. Impact When a child becomes bored this can create stress for the whole family. Idea To fit a TV and DVD player in the children’s waiting area. Benefit Having the TV in the children’s waiting area means child-appropriate content, such as cartoons and children’s programmes, can be played to keep children entertained. As well as a TV and DVD player the children’s waiting area has toys and is brightly decorated. The appointment waiting room is an enjoyable environment which will be better for whole family. Because Spinal Outpatients has a separate waiting area for children and adults the TV can show child appropriate content without disturbing adult patients.
