Marvellous Care - Helping mental health wards care for people with Learning Disabillity: featured image
We at Star Wards know that inpatient mental health wards can and do provide fantastic care to patients.

We also know that they welcome any help in providing MARVELLOUS care to patients with a learning disability

We therefore felt it would be useful for staff and patients to have a resource to help them manage a typical day on a ward.

So, that’s what the Marvellous website is all about – a little bit of support for our wonderful mental health staff to help them provide better care for learning disabilities patients.

Fun, funky, easy to read – but with tips, tactics and tried and tested resources all within a sporting theme.

We were helped by three amazing people with experience in this area- Mary Ellen Khoo, Sarah Kennedy and Dave Williams and include their advice and suggestions.

Having read the brilliant book “Marvellous!” by Neil Baldwin (written with Malcolm Clark) we asked if we could call our resource Marvellous Care – and they said we could. How generous is that!

So, if you want to take part in the beautiful game of improving care, why not check us out. http://www.marvellous.care/
