Listening To Colleagues To Improve Care
A quality improvement (QI) project has been carried out at Kent Community Health NHS Foundation Trust, which involved listening to what colleagues had to say about a product which was being used.
Colleagues within the intravenous (IV) service said they wanted to see the trust review its first choice of single use tourniquets and the project involved listening to staff and seeking an alternative product, with patient care and safety at the heart of the work.
