#AskAboutAsthma is back this September for its eighth year, and we want to invite you to be part of it.
For 2024, the #AskAboutAsthma campaign will run from 9 – 15 September. This year’s theme is Helping children and young people with asthma live their best lives. We’re looking at quality of life and what we can do to ensure all kids with asthma have as full lives as everyone else.
The #AskAboutAsthma campaign encourages children and young people (CYP), their families, and those involved in their care, to ensure four simple and effective measures to help them control their asthma:
1. Get an asthma action plan in place
2. Understand how to use inhalers correctly
3. Schedule an asthma review – every year and after every attack
4. Consider air pollution and its impact on lung health
Throughout the week there will be webinars, podcasts, blogs, vlogs, social media activity and a one-day virtual conference. You can sign up for updates and register for any of the events HERE
This page also has factsheets for primary and secondary care, ICBs, schools, youth organisations and local authorities, alongside a communications toolkit full of digital assets and copy for your newsletters and bulletins.
We look forward to seeing you during the week!
