HAPPY NEW YEAR
Thank you for your support, collaboration, encouragement and sharing.2017 was an amazing year that culminated in November in FabChangeWeek and our Fab Awards show.
2018 will be equally exciting and we have some great new initiatives and projects that we will be sharing with you very soon.
Our focus for the next three months is on collating and sharing the actions and outcomes from FabChangeWeek.
And for that we need your help.
Please do tell us about the outcomes of your pledges, what worked, what didn't work so well and what you have learnt. By sharing your journey you can support, empower and energise your peers who are seeking go improve their service or clinical environment. Its by sharing that good stuff happens.We will produce a report (similar to last years Doathon Report) which we will share widely to help disseminate the good stuff that works and help make more good stuff happen.
You may also have seen that we launched #FabSafe in December. Last year there were over 350 Never Events.These never events must be reported, listed, investigated and… and… and what? Do we learn from them? Locally yes, but nationally ? Apparently not. They keep happening.
What we want to know is how to stop them happening, not to how to beat up the people where it has happened.
We are inviting you to share your approach to never events and the innovations and good ideas and training that you have put in place to stop them happening. Upload up to 500 words, as many links of video links as you like and up to 3 jpeg photos It’s easy to do
Of course 2018 is a very special NHS birthday but before that, on February 14th, we are three years old! So we will be celebrating in style! More news to come soon.........
