Bevanite Forum - continuing our journey as Senior NHS Leaders
Having completed the Nye Bevan programme a colleague and I recognised something was ‘missing’.
We reflected on this and recognised it was the relationships we had forged with our cohorts and learning sets and the conversations we had held with one another which had been challenging, stimulating and energising.
With this in mind we recognised we had experienced a sense of loss on completion of the programme so decided to find out who across the Yorkshire and Humber footprint were fellow Bevanites who might be interested in coming together to provide support to one another as we continue our journeys as senior NHS leaders.
Between us, we quickly identified folk from our cohorts and emailed out to garner interest in setting up a local forum asking colleagues to spread the invite to those they were aware of who have completed Bevan.
To date we have held one meeting and are looking to hold further meetings on a quarterly basis hopefully at the Leadership Academy in Leeds.
We feel we have been very fortunate to have had the opportunity to attend the programme and now want to make sure we give as much back as we can.
