BLONDESharing is important, yes we've said it a lot but BLONDE makes sense.

There's nothing wrong in being proud about what you do.

Getting together with colleagues to share ideas and innovation that works has many benefits, not least meeting and networking with colleagues, getting inspired, motivated and enthused.

SuperSheffield know that getting together to share ideas works.

MCA expo is a two day annual improvement event held in Sheffield run by the Sheffield Microsystem Coaching Academy (MCA). The Sheffield MCA, hosted by Sheffield Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust with other Sheffield healthcare organisations is an academy which develops coaches, leaders and staff in quality improvement skills to help front line NHS staff improve care with patients and for the patients.

 

MCA Expo was set up to provide an opportunity for staff locally and nationally to

· Share their stories about the improvement work they are involved in and celebrate their successes.

· Learn from local and national expertise in quality improvement.

· Help to build and develop a quality improvement network with others

· Learn more about the work of the MCA and the improvement work in Sheffield.

· Inspire staff and leaders to get actively get involved in quality improvement.

Expo this year  MCA Expo is on June 6th and 7th and  features-

· Keynotes by Richard Bohmer and Maren Batalden · Contributions from  Margie Godfrey, John Carlisle and other national and internationally renowned quality improvement leaders and yes, Roy Lilley and TheBlonde have been invited to share the FabStuff philosopy .........

· Case studies and stories from the Sheffield MCA and other national and international improvement work

· Learn about the MCA, MCA Ward Collaborative and improving FLOW

· Interactive sessions to build quality improvement knowledge and skills

· Daytime and evening events to build your own improvement network

· Evening celebration featuring Sheffield comedian Tom Binns (Hospital DJ ‘Ivan Brackenbury’)

· The event has been approved by the Royal College for 10 hours of external non clinical CPD points.
