B3 social space

Problem

Ward B3 has enclosed cubicles for patients.

Impact

Mobile patients wanted somewhere to be social and relax away from their cubicle.

Idea

An unused storage area has been transformed with new décor and furniture into a cosy social space where patients can sit by the window and relax, chat to fellow patients, read or listen to music.

Benefits

Mobile patients have somewhere to walk and be social away from the cubicle. The space is light and relaxing and safely in sight of ward staff.
