A Homemade “Personal Christmas Lantern” gives residents, patients and those who must celebrate Christmas, due to the covid alone, a warm reminder: You are not alone, we think about you, we love you.

You can make the “Personal Christmas Lantern” as an activity together with the residents. Or family and volunteers can make the Lantern safely at home.

In a care homes the “Christmas Lantern” gives the residents a warm welcome at the Christmas diner. Your own place illuminated by a lantern with your photo and name on it.

After the Christmas dinner, the lantern will accompany the residents to their room, where the lantern continues to provide light and cosiness.

For patients in a hospital the “Christmas Lantern” is a reminder that in-spite of less visitors, due to the covid, people are thinking about you.

Never forget that when you are ill or care dependent “The Little Things become the Big Things”  One home made personalised Christmas lantern can made someone Christmas happy.

The lantern can bring light into dementia confusion and gives hope and strength to those who are lying in a hospital.

Especially for mine friends at the Academy of Fabulous Stuff, I have made a template of the Christmas lantern.

Here you can download the template with which you easily can make a Christmas lantern

You also can make the Christmas lantern with the photo of the person who can’t attend the Christmas diner due of the covid, at your home.

Put the Christmas lantern on the table during the Christmas dinner and the person is present.

It doesn't seem that big, but it will certainly makes the person who can’t be there feel good . It's the little things that makes us really happy.

Download the template, put on the Christmas, get started and make somebody happy 😊
