We are all on a critical mission to achieve carbon net zero emissions. Because the climate emergency is a health emergency: drivers of climate change are drivers of ill health.

The sheer size and scale of our healthcare system means there are countless opportunities for more environmentally sustainable ways of working. There have been many magnificent achievements already.

Colleagues far and wide are leading inventive quality improvement projects and working in innovative new ways. Let’s learn from each other and spread what works – on a national scale.
