Jennie Negus

Bio

A northern girl by birth Jennie moved down to London to undertake her nurse training at The Royal London Hospital and subsequently stayed in the capital for many years. With her passion and experience within acute medicine and elderly care Jennie has also worked in Greenwich and across East London; culminating in 10 years in various roles at Homerton Hospital Foundation Trust in East London rising through to Deputy Director of Nursing and in 2011 moved from London to Lincolnshire.

Passionate about patient, carer and staff experience Jennie’s role is Head of Patient Experience at United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust responsible for the patient, carer and staff experience alongside Voluntary Services.

Jennie was one of the first FAB Ambassadors and ‘signed up’ because of her passion and belief that seeing the good in others inspires further goodness. The principles of FAB are that by celebrating and sharing, pinching with pride and supporting and guiding each other we can inspire and motivate and ultimately continue to make the NHS the most amazing organisation in the world.
