James is a Director of TAP (Thank and Praise), a free-to-use social thanking platform enabling people to show their appreciation for keyworkers in healthcare, social care and education.

James is also Chair of the Institute of Health and Social Care Management’s ‘Public Image of Social Care’ group and a member of the Community Hospitals Association.

James has spent his career working for purpose-driven organisations, both corporates and not-for-profits, all committed to making a positive impact to society.

James’s role at TAP is to develop long-term relationships with organisations which share TAP’s values around the importance of recognising those working in healthcare, social care and education. Most of all, he appreciates the difference that TAP is making to the health and wellbeing of keyworkers through the power of gratitude.
