Hello my name is Helen;
Helen was a manager with Sefton Social Services for over 20 years, working with adults with learning disabilities, she was actively involved with the decommissioning of a large institutions and introducing supported housing for adults with learning disabilities. She enjoyed the challenge of introducing change. This continued after completing her nurse training which achieved her childhood dream. She is passionate about nursing and has been actively involved with many social movements, which help improve practice and patient experience. She became actively involved in improving services throughout the NHS Change Day / Week and working together with likeminded people within the Fab Ambassador Community.
Helen is looking forward to working as a Regional Co-ordinator for the North West and providing extra support as required to the local Fab Ambassadors within the region.
