Peezy Midstream won a Medical Innovation Award in 2002. The inventor was my brother Dr Vincent Forte, an NHS GP of over 20 years then working in Suffolk. Vincent asked me to assist with device commercialisation.
On top of excellent clinical evidence starting with Maternity and Primary Care, we know that Peezy Midstream can reduce specimen contamination, false positives, burden on labs and unnecessary prescribing. All this leads to precision outcomes for the 10m women sho suffer from UTI every year and the 600k women undertaking antenatal screening - that's 4.2m urines!
Peezy Midstream will soon be engineered into a flat-pack device to serve the needs of @home and remote urine screening. Currentr midstream collection methods lead to up to 70% false positves and up to 50% costly repeat tests especially in the maternity sector.
Our second and third devices will be introduced during 2027-2028 to captire the appropriate urine specimen for early stage cancer devices (Peezy First Stream), sports dope testing and evidential forensic medicine (Peezy Twin Stream)
To get Peezy Mistream to market adoption I ran 10 years of R&D, successful clinical trials and evidence-generation, regulatory work, investment generation, patent and marketing activity with subsequent sales growth across the UK and USA.
