I qualified as an RGN in 1989 and spent the majority of my nursing career in various roles in organizations in West Wales.

I have spent the last 20 years working in the Patient Safety and Quality arena and for the last 7 years I have been proud to work as the Assistant Director for Patient Safety and Quality at Cardiff and Vale University Health Board. I lead a fabulous team which includes Patient Safety, Quality Improvement, Clinical

Effectiveness and Quality Assurance. I am interested in all things Safety!

I am a wife, mum and very proud Nani to two beautiful grandsons. I live in beautiful West Wales where I do lots of walking, cooking, gardening, and collecting all sorts of paraphernalia but mainly Welsh art and textiles.
