Andrea is on a mission to help the NHS use and share knowledge, evidence and best practice. She does this locally in Somerset, and nationally through the Evidence 4 Quality Improvement network which she leads. Alongside her partner in crime, Jess Pawley, she produces the QI monthly evidence update which has a global audience. She is proud to connect the QI and library and knowledge services worlds, as well as link in to academia. Andrea is a Fab Ambassador and Q Connector.
Andrea lives in Taunton with her husband and 3 children. She has recently completed her PhD which looked at how the NHS uses management consultants. Prior to joining the NHS she worked for Accenture, IBM Business Consulting and the Royal Bank of Scotland Group. She also has an MBA from London Business School and a law degree from St Catherine's College, Oxford.
