Why I identified that there was a problem with the treatment within the Hospital with staff being unaware of the correct management when treating dehydration in a person with an ileostomy. This meant that patients did not receive appropriate treatment in a timely manner.
I wanted to develop something visual to make a instant impact also in Drs K drive file and in every ITU folder
So I developed a flow chart
What have been the outcomes?
