ULHT6The patient experience team at United Lincolnshire Hospitals have developed a reusable ward information table mat.

The aim of the mat is to improve the experience in hospital by providing every patient with information about their ward, ward routine, who they will see an other helpful information about their stay.

ULHT2The mats can be customised to each ward and are easily updatable.

The mats improve the communication between ward staff and the patients as we know time in hospital can be a worrying and stressful experience, often influenced by the environment of the ward.

ULHT3One way of improving a patient's experience is to provide clear communication and access to the information regarding the ward environment and routine.
