Flu season is approaching and we will be encouraging staff to have their flu vaccine - however, there are a number of things we can do in addition to the having the jab to avoid spreading germs and the most simple ones include hand washing and keeping the environment around us clean.
This is a message for both clinical and non-clinical environment.
Grubby keyboards / phones / mugs / desks / fridges harbour bacteria which can then spread all sorts of bugs. So it is “time to shine”.
Clean your desks, keyboards and work spaces. Wash your hands. Be bare below the elbow if you work in clinical environments.
