I recently had the opportunity to ask Sam Jones, Director of New Models of Care, Vanguards programme, some questions about the Vanguards.
I started by asking Sam how the Vanguards are being empowered to make changes, to do things differently - listen to Sams view on the importance of collaborative relationships.

My next question to Sam was about the people that had been role models for her ....
Sam reflected on how the impact and spread of Vanguard initiatives would be assessed and judged in the future.
We finished by talking about the two Vanguard initiatives that were Sam's favourites and I was pleased to hear we have similar tastes in red bags!
