The Heads Up Awards are jointly run by BCS – the Chartered Institute of IT – the Academy of Fabulous Stuff, and HIMSS UK.

The awards invite patients, carers, healthcare and social care professionals to nominate digital services, systems, assistive technologies or devices that have made a real difference to themselves or the people they care for.

The awards are open for submission and all you need to do is to fill in a simple online questionnaire. The closing date for submissions is 24 March 2017.

There are four categories one for each type of person making a submission
  • Patients
  • Carers
  • Healthcare Professionals
  • Social Care Professionals
The shortlisted nominations will be available for public vote in April ready for the Heads Up awards ceremony on 3 May 2017 at UK e-Health Week at Olympia. All shortlisted nominees will be invited to attend the awards event.

We need your help to make sure that digital initiatives that really make a difference are awarded and encouraged so that everyone benefits.
