Join us to hear about the changing shape of health services, and what this means for you. We’ll be hosting discussions with local health leaders, so this is your chance to find out about what these changes will mean for you and feedback directly to the people running the services.
As a local Healthwatch, we are here not only to give you information about health and social care in Enfield, but also to ensure your views are heard when services are being developed. There are some key changes happening, for example, where GP surgeries are joining up into networks. It’s vital that we can all understand and contribute to the conversation, as we all have a role to play.
Our Annual Conference is a great opportunity for you to have your views heard - and this year, we are making our Annual Conference bigger and better than ever!
It is taking place on Wednesday 4th March, from 9.00am - 2.30pm, (registration is 9:00am - 9:30am) at The Ark Royal, Enfield. We would love to see you there!
You will also have the opportunity to hear from local NHS leaders about other topics such as ‘social prescribing’ and hospital updates and participate in table discussions to share your views (with plenty of sticky notes and felt tips!). We will also be providing lunch and refreshments to keep you fed and watered.
And our Annual Conference is inclusive to all. Our previous conferences have welcomed people of all ages (from 16 to 80+) and all abilities and backgrounds from across the borough. It is our job to make sure that the information we give you is as accessible as possible, and we work really hard to make sure everyone attending can understand, participate and enjoy the event. For example, we will be providing British Sign Language interpreters and there will be Healthwatch staff, volunteers and table facilitators to help you on the day.
