Teabags in the fridge are 5 short films about Brian, his daughter Sue and son Graham, and some of the situations and decisions they face as a family caring for someone with dementia.

The films chart their relationships from diagnosis.

Episode 1: Diagnosis

Episode 2: Progression

Episode 3: Wellbeing

Episode 4: Difficult situations

Episode 5: Co-ordinating care.

The films are accompanied by resources designed for three different groups: Group 1: professionals or volunteers who work with people with dementia and their carers day to day Group 2: professionals or volunteers who work with people with dementia and their carers sometimes Group 3: carer support groups.

The films are based on the real life experiences of family carers as described in www.dementiacarer.net.
