The Executive team are sponsoring 5 new posts in our mental health and learning disability services which will offer the opportunity to not only attain competence in preceptorship in clinical placement; but also give protected time to undertake service improvement or research related to improving outcomes for service users/ improving nursing care.
Placements will be agreed within our top performing teams within the Trust and each talent management preceptee will be tracked through the organisation to evaluate the impact of offering the ability to further invest in the skills in research and service improvement learnt during nurse training.
The Trust is keen to work from entry into the NHS with clinicians to build and develop skills that focus on improving outcomes for service users and carers, whilst ensuring the values and behaviours expected within the organisation are embedded into practice.
All 5 preceptees will work closely with the patient experience team to reflect our commitment to co-production of improvement/research projects in nursing
