Dan Arnold is Southern’s first Peer Support Lead

Dan joins the Trust as our first ever appointed Peer Support Lead and is very much looking forward to working with service users, carers and staff.
His role will be to develop a trust wide peer support structure that can be embedded into services supporting our service users, our staff and our carers and to complement the existing provisions within recovery journeys.
Dan brings with him his own lived experience of ill mental health from his time in the military which he believes gives him an empathetic approach to this role.
