Hello my name is Jules and I am the EOLC Facilitator (Lead Nurse) at SaTH over the last few weeks I have put my pledge into action at SaTH going on to wards thanking staff for a job well done, staff who go above and beyond for end of life patients and their families.

No matter how busy I am I make time to do this weekly.

Staff are under extreme pressure everyday. However, I see examples of excellent end of life care and support everyday.

Thanking staff is so important, to feel appreciated and valued is a lovely feeling.

Giving positive feedback to staff not only puts a smile on their face but it makes me smile too and when I walk away hearing staff say how nice was that of Jules to come and see me and thank me, it's the little things that make the biggest difference.

Make someone's day tomorrow thank someone because that's what I will be doing.

I also have an amazing week planned for fabchange week & we are on track to implement all our daily pledges, we will be launching our EOLC Volunteer Service, volunteers will be trained next week, fully implement the swan paper bag & contents for unexpected / sudden deaths to all Wards after a successful trial in ED earlier this year, start the EOLC relative voucher scheme & coping with grief leaflet and sympathy card & much more.

Thank you for reading this Jules
