Christina Moulding, Healthcare Assistant for our Delivery Suite at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals has been shortlisted for a “Service with a smile” award in the Time to Shine Awards held by Rock FM.
Christina said: “I am absolutely thrilled and honoured to have been shortlisted for this award. I didn’t even know that I had been nominated until the shortlist was announced! I am so touched by everyone’s support from the maternity team.”
Christina was nominated by her colleague, Stephanie Horridge, a Research Midwife at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals. Stephanie said: “I nominated Christina for her consistent positive attitude and in recognition of all the hard work she does to make our delivery suite at Royal Preston Hospital welcoming for families. The support she provides for those families and their new babies, and also the way that she encourages teamwork and cares for every other member of staff who works here is incredible. Christina is always enthusiastic, happy to help, and often goes above and beyond to make our women and families more comfortable, in times of both great joy and sometimes sadness. Women and families really value the support that she provides. Christina makes everyone’s day a little bit brighter just by working alongside us, and we are all hoping that she will win the award.”
The Rock FM Time to Shine Awards are a celebration of the local citizens of Lancashire and all of the great work that they do.
The winners will be announced at an awards ceremony on the 15th March at Chorley Town Hall.
