On 9th July 2019 we at Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital got to revel all of the achievements made for continuous quality improvement.
The room was abuzz with banter as 13 of the project leads from the previous 12 months showcased their work and how they made changes to better give Safe, Compassionate Care for our patients, their families and our staff. They passed on their passion and excitement as they talked to our colleagues about their improvements, and with all of the fun interactive activities it made sharing the learning a doddle! There was also a wonderful gallery of all the QI posters from the last 12 months to give the full recognition they deserve and inspire the next cohort of project leads.
And with it being the Quality Improvement Support Team’s first birthday it was a great opportunity to celebrate the journey so far with music, balloons and cake! The Team were also on board to motivate new project leads with entertaining PDSA games, QI competitions and got to chat to staff about QI approaches and what the Team can do to support them to make positive changes.
The QI Team can’t wait to see what more LHCH does in the next 12 months to Be the Best!
