Peer Mentoring Programme (London) for young people with Sickle Cell Disorder

The Peer Mentoring Programme is delivered by the Sickle Cell Society. The programme supports young people living with sickle cell disorder by connecting them with mentors who offer guidance, support, and shared experiences. The programme provides a safe and supportive space for young people to develop resilience, build confidence, and learn essential life skills.

It is designed to empower mentees and foster a sense of community among them.We match mentors and mentees based on shared experiences and needs, with regular check-ins and activities to help strengthen their relationship.

The programme also includes training and ongoing support for our mentors to ensure they can provide the best guidance possible.
