Peace of Mind – A mobile web app designed to help young people manage mental distress using a model designed by MIND counsellors supported by Maccas Project. The app provides vital out of hours contact support too.

Research states that 43% of young people still fear the stigma attached to mental health issues. Many young people find it difficult to access the right kind of support at the right time.

The web app provides a rapid and safe way for young people to access vital support information and out of hours support. The app is easy to access via peaceofmind.help (optimised to work on all devices and screens) and available to work on any mobile device, including Apple, Android and Windows, it allows easy offline access any time of the day or night.

Julie Brunt – The Younger Mind Assistant team manager says “there’s loads of information in the app that’s useful for anyone, not just young people, qualified counsellors too!”

Within the first 8 weeks the app has been used by over 900 people and has helped to direct young people to the right services out of hours.
