Online GP services are expanding. Besides ordering repeat prescriptions and booking appointments online, patients who request it will also be able to view detailed information in their online GP records by the 31st of March 2016.

The Patient Online team has interviewed three members of their Patient Working Together Group about their experience with online GP services.

Ingrid’s story: Ingrid has long term conditions and finds access to her online GP records very useful. "I can take my information everywhere I go."

Trevor’s story: Patient Online talked to Trevor. He uses his online GP records to manage his own health and his partner's too. She has dementia and as her carer, Trevor has proxy-access to her online GP records as well.

Kim’s story: Kim uses online GP services to book appointments and order repeat prescriptions. He is looking forward to being able to see his detailed GP records.
