The aim of the project is to give students at a local (Harlow) science technology engineering and mathematics secondary school (BMAT STEM) a unique opportunity to align their learning (curriculum) with work experience.
This was achieved by the quality improvement (QI) team working in partnership with teaching staff and hospital managers to provide relevant work experience involving students using QI methodology to review an element of service provision in either information technology (IT) or medical, biomedical and clinical engineering (EMBE).
