Official results published this week show that NAViGO Health and Social Care Community Interest Company who provide NHS mental health and associated services in North East Lincolnshire, is one of the best performing organisations in this years NHS national staff survey.
Jane Lewington, Chief Executive of NAViGO, said: “The results of the staff survey follows on from previous excellent feedback regards care, facilities and national awards. To receive this kind of feedback from our staff is wonderful. It is fantastic to see how committed and dedicated our staff are to the people they support and to see our results improve even further from last year, placing us well above the national average for the vast majority of indicators. NAViGO’s mission is to ensure we provide services at the standard that we would be happy for our families to use. The score for staff recommending NAViGO as a place to work or receive treatment has increased year on year, now standing at 3.95 out of 5 compared to a score of 3.64 out of 5 nationally*.
Other impressive statistics include: 85% of staff agreed care of service users is NAViGO’s top priority, up 7% on last year’s results and 9% higher than the national average* 91% of staff agreed their role makes a difference to patients and service users, up 4% on last year’s results and 2% higher than the national average* 88% of staff agreed they are able to do their job to a standard they are personally pleased with, up 13% on last year’s results and 9% higher than the national average*
The NHS Staff Survey is recognised as an important way of ensuring that the views of staff working in the NHS inform local improvements and input in to local and national assessments of quality, safety, and delivery of the NHS Constitution.
