Deborah Bone died at the age of 51 leaving behind a legacy of amazing work in improving the mental health of children and young people. She was Clinical Lead & Service Manager - Step2 Early Intervention CAMHS,Hertfordshire Community NHS Trust until 2014 when she became too unwell to continue.However, despite bravely fighting myeloma with grueling treatment she, friends and husband Colin, went on to further develop her award winning 'BrainBox', an innovative resource for improving emotional & mental well-being for children & adults

She was also recognised as winner of 3 National awards "Excellence in Practice" "Mental Health Innovation and Patient Experience" and "Innovative Resource in the NHS" Role Model of the Year 2013 Community Awards.On December 30 2014, the day of her premature death, she was awarded an MBE which she was thrilled to accept. Her husband accepted this on her behalf last week presented by HRH Prince Charles. Her contribution to improving emotional health & Wellbeing lives on!
