Making information more accessable to patients

1. Adding leaflets about occupational therapy and activities available to patients in the admission packs.

2. Using photo's within these leaflets, so that patient know who the occupational therapy staff are.

3. Adding vocational information to the discharge packs to enable patients to access occupational therapy services beyond hospital.

4. Creating self-help leaflets and information with the patients for the patients, using their words and ideas for what has worked for them.

5. Making the leaflets accessable on the wards and in discussion groups.

6. Making all leaflets with pictures and 'jargon free' language, making them easy to read and translate.
