The Macmillan Information and Support Centre at Wirral University Hospital Have started running a Cancer Support Café for Staff.

This is a Drop in service for staff who are affected by cancer -either as patients themselves or caring for someone with cancer.

Staff can get emotional support, information and literature, it is an informal setting that gives members of staff the opportunity to discuss any cancer related issues and concerns.

We also provide links to local, national, voluntary, self help and support groups. Cancer has an impact on so many people and it can sometimes be hard for staff who are affected by cancer to find the time to get the support they need.

This lunchtime drop in service is to enable all staff within our trust to see that we are a service for anyone who needs information or support.
