The first "A little a day the easy way" event at Sherwood Forest Hospitals is being held on the 11th October.
Alongside promoting 19th October as FAB Change Day- people are invited to come and see what changes they can make for a healthier lifestyle. The day will help raise awareness
-That by being active you can help increase your flexibility, strength and tone muscles.
-Increasing your activity may help with poor mobility, balance and reduce your risk or fear of falling.
-There are many easy and enjoyable ways to work more physical activity into your day, for example gardening, dancing, using the stairs more instead of the lift and moving around at regular intervals as well as brisk walking.
The event will be supported by Leaflets, posters and lots of information to help you become more active.
