I have arranged for 116 staff members to take part in Virtual Dementia training throughout fab week with staff from community, community hospitals, Out of Hours and corporate to ensure their is increased Dementia awareness through our organisation.
Feedback already received has been that the training has been great to get a Dementia patients perspective and staff are already discussing how they can approach dementia patients differently to improve their experience when using our services.
