The HWBB and participating organisations were particularly interest to understand what organisations were doing well, what they could learn from each other in relation to good practice (generating case studies) and wanted to incorporate a baseline assessment which looked at specific HWB outcomes:
• Days lost to sickness absence
• Average cost of sickness absence
• Top 3 reasons for sickness absence
• Sickness presence
• Staff engagement
• Cost of temporary staffing
The outcomes of the project included:
• System wide report and 6 recommendations
• Each organisation has a specific plan with recommendations
• Over 20 case studies of good practice have been generated
• Work place framework developed for assessing HWB interventions and their impact
• Views and perspective of disabled people in various roles and a sample of managers informed process
Since the project has completed, work is being undertaken to evaluate on-going impact and progress.
These will be shared via @HWBInspiration and our HWBInspiration Linked in Group.
