The resources also help to inform patients about the different types of staff they can expect to see in general practice and what they do. From apprentices to general practitioners, it's about the whole team. Part of our role is to promote the range of opportunities available in the NHS as well as supporting the implementation of new roles such as physician associates. Through education and training Health Education East of England invests in the future and existing workforce because we believe that better training means better care.
