Free workshop day for mental health trusts from Age UK in London on Oct 17th

John’s Campaign calls for trusts to welcome family carers to be with their loved ones on the ward outside of the normal visiting times, according to the individual needs of the person living with a dementia.

Acute trusts that have successfully implemented the principles have reported positive results for the lived patient experience, for the family carers, the ward staff and the organisation too. We want to spread this success across the country to mental health trusts.

John’s Campaign and Age UK, would like to invite representatives from mental health trusts to come together and share where implementation has been successful. We would also like to bring together trusts where there have been challenges, and those who have not even started yet.

Join us for an interactive workshop – during the day we will share positive practice stories. We will also look at barriers and challenges to implementation and help you to work your way through your own organisations concerns.
