The session will take place on Friday 3rd March 2017 at University College Hospital in central London (UCH Education Centre, 1st Floor West Wing, 250 Euston Road, London, NW1 2PG) between 10am and 2pm. We will start the session at 10am and will end with a light buffet lunch at 1pm, and would be delighted if you could stay and network.
The workshop will be led by Interserve Learning & Employment but will include an update from the Skills Funding Agency, giving the latest information on behalf of DfE.
The session will provide a detailed review of where the apprenticeship reforms currently stand and a more focused look at the potential opportunities for employers to manage and maximise their levy funds from April 2017 onwards.
From our experience with some of our existing employer customers, many are still not fully aware of the ways in which this significant change can be steered and manipulated to their benefit and this will be a focus of the session, with commercial analysts from the ILE team on hand to discuss, model and test individual scenarios.
The session will also look at how the DAS system will work as it starts to take shape. Interserve Learning & Employment is a leading provider in the delivery of skills and education and employment services. It supports over 7,000 apprentices each year through a mix of Intermediate, Advanced and Higher level qualifications, spanning multiple sectors and vocations. A part of Interserve plc, with its own £4.5m levy bill, we have a unique perspective as a major employer and a leading training provider.
During the last six months we have joined these two strengths together and have been working collaboratively across Interserve to develop a joined up approach to our levy programme. We are keen to share this experience and learning with you.
Please RSVP to Emily Langridge ([email protected]) if you can join us at this event and of any specific dietary requirements.
