On 1st July we held our first ever ‘Fabulous Feedback Friday’ to give patients the opportunity to give direct feedback to our staff- and to provide the opportunity to say thank you to our staff for their hard work and dedication.
The first event was held on our three orthopaedic wards. Between 2-3pm the team will be gathering feedback from patients on the wards, and sharing thoughts and comments with staff.
Fiona Jones, Ward Manager ward 16 in Orthopaedics at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, said: “We felt this was a great opportunity to thank our orthopaedic staff for all their hard work and commitment and also to share important feedback from patients. This is a great opportunity for staff to share patient feedback and for the team to act on that feedback as required, but it’s also a great way of showing our appreciation to staff and providing a forward thinking, innovative and fun place to work.”
