Our Clinical Business Unit which covers elderly care and stroke won team of the year at Aintree for our patient experience and staff engagement work in 2017.The work included the following:
1. Successful bid for charitable funds for Dementia equipment for our patients (£7,500)
2. Patient Events on special occasions
3. Local Staff Survey
4. Local Employee of the month to celebrate success
5. Closed Facebook page to share good practice
6. #endPJparalysis campaign
7. Alzheimer's Cup Cake Day
8. Christmas Parties with 175 patients participating and 68 staff dressed in fancy dress
In order to celebrate our work and share our achievements we developed the DME Gazette.We circulate this to our team, share it on our Facebook page and leave copies for our Executive and Non Executive Directors. It has been really well received by staff and patients alike. We are sharing it on here as it may be something others could replicate.
